MOVEROVER WE BELIEVE it’s important to know where your products come from. By offering a transparent supply chain, BOWIES is set to increase sustainability and consumer satisfaction. Our biggest priority is to ensure that our product is ethically produced and we help customers to wear smarter.
Our intentions have always been to be as transparent as possible from the start. Our goal is to present a more detailed cost and mapping structure with every production cycle. Next cycle, for example, we will hope to share data from the designated sheep farm.
These are the details of our cost structure so far: this chart explains the price of our sweater for a lifetime (225 EUR). Also, we’ve compared the production costs of similar products and linked a corresponding margin to them. We like to emphasize that this price represents an investment rather than a single purchase.

Prioritizing a progressive approach on sustainability, KNITWEAR LAB is constantly developing ethical knitwear made from biodegradable materials and regenerated and certified yarns. Moreover, the LAB places a high emphasis on zero-waste production methods. Through 3D knitting techniques, they are capable of knitting designs entirely out of one piece without any waste.
Merino wool is known for its anti-bacterial and odour-controlling properties. Therefore, it does not have to be washed that often. By minimizing your water use, you’re taking care of your sweater’s durability and the planet at the same time. Also, we pre-washed your garment after production to prevent it from shrinking.

For this order, BOWIES bought mulesing free wool from an existing batch. This batch contains wool from various parts of the world. From next order, we will have more information about the heritage per lot.
