Shipping and Returns

An original investment that endures


At BOWIES, shipping costs are included in your consumer price of €225.


All our orders are collected once a week. If you order before Friday at noon, your sweater is processed for shipping and delivering the following Saturday.


For now, BOWIES’ choice is to ship only in The Netherlands since we are a Dutch-based company we want to organically grow both our reach and intelligence.


If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, BOWIES offers a 14-day return policy – see the section Online Return Procedure below for further details. Returns outside of the 14-day timeframe may be accepted at the discretion of BOWIES and may only be refunded with store credit, see the section Damaged/Faulty Goods for further details.




Though it is up to our discretion, the general rule is that the purchase withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods. After this period, the purchase is considered final – unless, of course, you discover a fault with your product, in which case we urge you to report it to us as soon as possible.




  • Returned items will only be accepted if they are unused, unworn, unwashed, and undamaged.
  • BOWIES reserves the right to reject insufficient or illegitimate returns. If your return is not accepted, you’ll be notified by email.
  • If our return requirements are not complied with, BOWIES reserves the right to send the return back to the customer, who will then be charged with delivery costs.



In the event of a delivery mistake or if the product received is considered damaged or faulty, please notify us (info@bowies-essentials.comt) as soon as possible and we will happily assist you with either returning the product(s) and/or obtaining a refund.

If you discover a fault after the 14-day return period, but within six months of purchase, you can still return it. Where possible, we will offer to repair the item. If it cannot be repaired and the same product is still available, we will send you a replacement. If the same product is no longer available, you are entitled to a full refund. Please reach out to us ( to arrange the repair or replacement.




If the above outlined return requirements are satisfied and wish to return an item within the 14 day window:

Register your return at BOWIES using our return form. We care for your feedback and can only process a return if this form is completed.

Fill out this PostNL form and print your label to prepare the return shipment optionally. Alternatively, if you don’t want to print the label, you can use the barcode generated by PostNL that can be scanned at your nearest PostNL drop-off point.When filling out the PostNL form, please make sure to always correctly provide your sender details and use the following information for the return shipment:

Make sure the package is neatly packed, including all attributes of the original package, and drop it off at your nearest PostNL location. Note: at this point you should not be charged with any shipping costs as we have registered a reply number (antwoordnummer) with PostNL. See the Refunds section for details on how BOWIES settles return fees if applicable.




With our reply number (antwoordnummer), you won’t be charged at PostNL when dropping off the package for a return shipment. However, BOWIES will deduct a return fee of €7,50 from the amount to be refunded. For example, you will receive an amount of €225 – €7,50 = €217,50 for one returned sweater. In case of damaged and/or faulty goods the costs associated with the return procedure will be on BOWIES.

All refunds will be processed via Mollie, our payment services provider and will be charged back to the payment method used for your initial payment. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days to reflect in your account, due to varying processing times between payment providers.
